On August 4, 2008, Local 399 opened its new Union Hall and Training Facility to its members. The building is 48,000 square feet with 13,000 square feet dedicated to training. There are three classrooms and two labs that are equipped with the most innovative equipment available. The entire building has wireless capability and also meets several green initiatives that have been established by the City of Chicago.
