On behalf of the IUOE General Executive Board and Trustees, I want to thank the delegates for making the 40th General Convention of the International Union of Operating Engineers such a success. It was a productive, enlightening and unifying experience. The convention theme, “Seize the Moment,” captures what the gathering was all about. The historic investments in infrastructure and increasing demand for skilled Operating Engineers are creating gains in our market share. Our commitment to and investments in expanding training opportunities have our programs full of new talent. Today, our union is poised to grow stronger than ever before. It’s time for Operating Engineers to seize the moment!
